AttendGauge is completely free to use without creating an account or providing identification. We do not ask for, collect, or store:

Your student identification number, college name, university credentials, or academic transcripts.
Passwords, payment credentials, or personal profiles.

2. Local Browser Storage (localStorage)

To improve your user experience and prevent you from having to re-enter your attendance values every time you refresh or revisit the site, AttendGauge uses your web browser's native localStorage mechanism.

What is stored locally:

Only the numerical values and settings you input into the calculator (such as classes attended, total classes held, target attendance percentage, classes per day, and semester total classes) under the key attendgauge_saved_inputs.

This information is stored strictly on your device inside your browser. It is never transmitted across the internet, never sent to our servers, and cannot be accessed by external parties.

How to remove your saved numbers: You can wipe this data at any time by clicking the "Reset to Defaults" button on the calculator, or by clearing your browser's cookies and site data for this domain.

3. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

AttendGauge currently does not use cookies to track users or deliver advertisements. The site relies entirely on client-side state and browser local storage as described above.

Future Updates Notice: If we introduce functional cookies or privacy-preserving session tools in the future to improve performance, this policy will be promptly updated with explicit descriptions of cookie types, retention periods, and opt-out controls.

4. Analytics & Performance Measurement
