Disclaimer

Last updated: September 12, 2026

AttendGauge is an independent calculation tool. Please review this disclaimer to understand the scope, boundaries, and nature of the estimations provided.

Point 01

Mathematical Estimates

All calculations, safe bunk limits, and recovery numbers are estimates derived purely from the numbers entered by the user.

Point 02

Institutional Supremacy

Your university or college's official records, faculty attendance registers, and student portals always take legal and academic precedence.

Point 03

Rule & Policy Variations

Attendance thresholds, rounding criteria, condonation limits, and lab credits differ across institutions and individual departments.

Point 04

No Institutional Affiliation

AttendGauge is an independent educational tool and is not affiliated, endorsed by, or partnered with any university or college.

1. Accuracy of Calculations

The algorithms used by AttendGauge apply standard linear arithmetic formulas (such as (Attended + X) / (Total + X) ≥ Target for recovery and Attended / (Total + Y) ≥ Target for safe absences).

While these mathematical calculations are exact for the parameters supplied, they depend entirely on the accuracy and completeness of the data you enter. AttendGauge cannot independently audit your actual classroom attendance records.

2. Variation in Institutional Policies

Every educational institution operates under its own distinct academic regulations. Common variances include:

  • Rounding Rules: Some universities round 74.5% up to 75%, while others strictly mandate 75.00% without rounding.
  • Condonation & Medical Leaves: Some boards allow students with 65%–74% to sit for exams upon submission of medical certificates or condonation fees, while others enforce zero-tolerance detention.
  • Course Weightings: Practical laboratory sessions, seminars, and lectures may carry differing attendance weights or separate mandatory cut-offs.
  • Buffer Requirements: Unscheduled lectures, extra remedial classes, or faculty strikes can change the total number of classes held before the semester ends.

3. No Academic Guarantee or Exam Eligibility Assurance

Using AttendGauge does not guarantee exam eligibility, hall ticket issuance, or progression to the next semester. You should never base high-stakes academic decisions solely on automated calculations without checking your official university student portal.

4. Non-Affiliation Statement

AttendGauge is completely independent. Any references to specific colleges, universities, exam boards, or regulatory frameworks are made solely for descriptive and informational identification purposes and do not imply endorsement, affiliation, sponsorship, or institutional connection.
